Duties
- Set up and maintain eye-catching produce displays that highlight freshness and seasonal offerings
- Assist customers with product selection, answer questions about produce varieties, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service
- Handle inventory control by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and rotating stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely for loading, unloading, and moving produce supplies
- Use RF scanners for accurate inventory tracking and update stock levels regularly
- Maintain cleanliness of the produce area, including cleaning displays, shelving, and surrounding workspaces
- Support shipping & receiving activities by loading/unloading deliveries efficiently while adhering to safe lifting practices
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience or retail store experience with a focus on produce or grocery products preferred
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (certification a plus), and RF scanners
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and merchandising
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Capable of manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices throughout shifts
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, pricing adjustments, and sales transactions
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques, merchandising standards, and grocery store operations is advantageous
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and proactive approach to assisting shoppers

Pay: $19.00 - $21.64 per hour
