The Market Media Co. is hiring a Social Media & Design Coordinator who is part community manager, part designer and part video editor.
This person will keep client social accounts running day to day across our fashion, beauty and luxury real estate portfolio. They'll also handle the design, video and print work that makes those brands look sharp everywhere they show up.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves making the work and seeing it go live. You'll post, engage, design, edit and prep print materials. You'll also help each brand stay consistent and on-voice.
This is a part-time 1099 role at 15–20 hrs/week and $20–$25/hr. It's partially remote, with room to grow into full-time as our client list grows.
What You'll Do
- Manage posting for two client accounts on a set cadence, including feed posts, reels and stories.
- Handle daily engagement by replying to comments and DMs in each client's brand voice.
- Design carousel posts and email blasts in Canva using each client's brand kit and templates.
- Edit reels with text overlays, sound effects and transitions that match each client's established style.
- Prep print materials and coordinate with vendors during a weekly in-office half day (Wednesday or Thursday). Quality-check every piece before it goes out.
- Contribute ideas on social strategy and how our clients can hit their goals.
What We're Looking For
- Professional experience managing social accounts, whether agency, in-house or serious freelance.
- Working knowledge of Canva, Premiere Pro and Illustrator.
- Strong written communication. You'll be speaking as our clients' brands, so tone matters.
- A sharp eye for visual consistency and the judgment to catch a typo or off-brand graphic before anyone else does.
- Reliable availability for a consistent weekly schedule, including one half day in office.
- Openness to filming with clients occasionally.
- Experience in fashion, beauty or real estate marketing, or familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Later or Notion, is a plus.
