What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mailing Machine Set-Up Operator (2nd Shift) position at THE MAREK GROUP INC?
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As a Mailing Machine Set-Up Operator, you’ll set up, run, and troubleshoot mailing and bindery equipment to ensure projects are produced accurately and on time. You’ll work closely with the Bindery Manager and play a key role in our overall production workflow.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot mailing equipment (inkjet, inserters, folders, etc.)
- Adjust guides, rollers, and machine settings for accurate output
- Inspect finished mail pieces and correct quality issues
- Load/unload mail trays, tubs, and pallets
- Read job tickets and ensure proper addressing, postage, and production specs
- Clear jams and keep machines running efficiently
- Maintain a safe, clean production area
WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT:
