Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Teaching Assistant role located in Irvine, CA. Responsibilities include supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons and assisting students with their academic and behavioral needs. The Teaching Assistant will collaborate to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, provide individualized support to students, and help maintain classroom organization and safety. Additional duties may include assisting with educational activities, supervising students during non-classroom times, and maintaining ongoing communication with teachers and staff to support the students’ success.
Qualifications
- Experience in Assistant Teaching and working closely with educators to support lesson delivery and classroom activities.
- Strong Communication skills for effective interaction with students, peers, and staff in a collaborative environment.
- Background in Education or familiarity with therapeutic teaching methods to assist in academic instruction and classroom management.
- Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm for Working With Children, especially those with emotional, social, or behavioral challenges.
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability to work effectively in a therapeutic educational environment.
- Bachelor's degree is required
