What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Server position at THE MANSION ON MAIN STREET?
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must maintain a neat, clean and well groomed appearance
- Must have availability to work nights, weekends and possibly holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, banquet staff and management
- Provide prompt and courteous food & beverage service to guests during events
- Maintain tables by clearing, replenishing drinks and ensuring guests satisfaction
- Perform general cleaning tasks through-out the Ballroom
- Replenish buffets and food & beverage stations in a timely manner
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift over 30 lbs
- Knowledge of different service techniques
- Perform related duties as requested by supervisor/manager
- Notify supervisor of complaints, unusual situations or unsafe conditions
- Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness
- Follow safety and security procedures and rules
- Perform all side work - replenishing condiments, restocking shelves, supplies
