Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time (Flexible hours, primarily evenings and weekends)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Banquet Houseman to join our event operations team. The support staff plays key behind-the-scenes roles in ensuring that every event runs smoothly — from setting up to maintaining event spaces and assisting servers and management throughout each event.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with event setup, including arranging furniture and preparing spaces for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment throughout events.
- Support servers and managers with food and beverage service as needed.
- Clear tables and return used items to appropriate areas promptly.
- Help with transitions between event phases and room resets according to management direction.
- Assist with guest needs and provide general event support to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in end-of-event breakdown, cleaning, and preparation for upcoming events.
Qualifications:
- Prior hospitality, event, or banquet experience preferred but not required — training provided.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and commitment to guest service.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
