Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients according to established recipes and standards
- Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients onto small trays for the cooks.
- Reading tickets from servers and take-out orders
- Cooking fried rice and steam rice.
- Making noodles as necessary.
Qualifications
- Good memorization is required to learn the ingredients for each dish
- Knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and proper use of kitchen tools such as knives
- Experience working in restaurants or the food industry
