This role is directly responsible for executing learning and development initiatives across the organization. This role involves the design, development and delivery of training programs, managing talent development activities, and working closely with employees and managers to support career growth and performance.
This position is both a strategic thinker and a doer—comfortable facilitating training, designing content, analyzing learning needs, and supporting talent initiatives that drive organizational effectiveness that align with our company’s vision, culture, and business goals.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
Learning & Development (Execution-Focused):
- Partner with training developers and cohorts to provide a suite of programs (aka curriculums) that address employee onboarding, leadership development and job functional and system-related training across various lines of business.
- Design, develop and deliver business training cohort program to provide job functional and system-related training across various lines of business.
- Design, develop and deliver engaging training sessions (classroom, virtual, and on-demand).
- Develop learning materials, job aids, e-learning content, and presentations.
- Conduct training needs assessments through surveys, interviews, and performance data.
- Facilitate onboarding programs, technical skills training, leadership workshops, and soft skills development.
- Partner with HR and managers to implement development plans for employees.
- Coordinate coaching and mentoring programs and track participation and outcomes.
- Support succession planning efforts by helping identify high-potential talent and development gaps.
- Administer and update the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring content accuracy and tracking participation.
- Maintain accurate training records, certifications, and compliance documentation.
- Track, analyze and report on learning metrics (completion rates, satisfaction, impact).
- Manage logistics for training events, including scheduling, materials, room setup, and follow-up.
- Work closely with department leads to align learning content with business needs.
- Act as the main point of contact for internal training requests and external training vendors.
- Participate in developing learning plans and identifying training gaps in roles throughout the company.
- Other special projects as needed.
- 3–5 years of experience in training, instructional design, or employee development
- Direct experience delivering training sessions and developing learning materials.
- Proficiency in designing training content and using e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Canva, Adobe Captivate)
- Experience managing or working within a Learning Management System (LMS)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to meet deadlines and address time-sensitive issues.
- Ability to motivate, coach, and ensure accountability for a team.
- Ability to manage workflow amid shifting priorities.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Training or Instructional Design Certifications preferred.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and driving record in compliance with Company policy.
- Use standard office equipment, including: computer, phone, copier/scanner, etc.
- Be stationary or in motion for periods of time.
- Relocate up to (25) pounds.
Instructional Designer

- Monday-Friday from approx. 8:00 am-5:00 pm
- This position may require occasional long hours to meet business needs.
- Up to approx. 25% domestic (including occasional overnight) travel annually.
