Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and well-stocked.
- Engage with customers, providing friendly service and recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilizing retail math skills as needed.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during banquet and catering events to ensure seamless service.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and tracking usage to minimize waste.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and brewing techniques to enhance drink offerings.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Basic understanding of retail math for handling transactions effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the business needs.
- A passion for the food industry, with an eagerness to learn.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol in accordance with local laws.
- Must have a server's license.
