Sales Associate
Job Description:
A sales associate at our store is responsible for the organization, processing, and shipping of product recieved from customers. They will process incoming shipments, prepare product for safe delivery, and ensure that product shipments are processed appropriately.
Responsibilities:
- Packs and prepares items for safe delivery
- Processes shipments and creates shipping lables with accurate information
- Ensures that all paperwork is completed and ready for shipment domestically or internationally.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area and machines.
- Mailbox rental sales
- Putting away mail for personal mailboxes and digital mailboxes
- Passport photos
- Digital finger printing and ID verification
- Use of laser engraver
- Printing and faxing
- Cashiering and customer service
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in shipping and sales or other related fields preferred.
- Not required, but New York Notary License, would be preferred.
Additional Information:
This position will require a personable individual with excellent communication skills to work in a fast paced environment with a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills along with strong computer skills. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
