What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher Assistant position at The Magic Flute Bilingual Preschool?
Searching for an assistant who:
- Can work with preschool age children (3-5 y/o) and assist teacher with preparation of classroom and teaching materials.
- Is able to work with teachers in providing care and ensuring the safety of children both in the classroom and on the playground.
- Has a flexible work/school schedule.
Education:
- College certificate in Early Childhood Education, or related field is highly desirable, but it is not an excluding condition if an applicant shows experience working with young children.
Experience:
- 1 years of experience working with kids is desirable.
Language Skills:
- Fluency in Spanish is highly desired as the nature of the preschool is bilingual.
Other Requirements:
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain it.*
- Food Handlers Certification
- Ability to pass background checks
*Trainings are paid for.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
