The Weekend Baylor LPN provides nursing care for a mixed rehabilitation and long-term care resident population at The Madison Health and Rehab during scheduled 12-hour weekend shifts. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, this role focuses on medication passes, treatments, resident monitoring, and accurate documentation using PointClickCare.
$25.50 per hour
$ 2.00 shift differential from 3p - 7a
Work a 12 hour shift Saturday, 12 hour shift Sunday, receive 6 additional hours
Insurance and benefits provided after 60 days
Responsibilities
- Conduct resident assessments and monitor clinical status.
- Administer medications during scheduled medication passes.
- Deliver prescribed treatments during 12-hour weekend shifts.
- Measure and document vital signs.
- Complete accurate chart documentation in PointClickCare.
- Monitor residents and report clinical changes appropriately.
- Collaborate with the nursing and care team.
Required Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Medication administration experience.
- Clinical documentation experience.
- Vital signs monitoring experience.
- Wound care experience.
- Electronic health records experience, preferably PointClickCare.
- Knowledge of infection control practices.
- Patient assessment skills.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
