About the Role
Macritchie Group is a private real estate private equity firm focused on acquisitions and development within alternative real estate sectors. The firm is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its investment team and support all aspects of the investment process, including deal sourcing, financial underwriting, investment committee preparation, transaction execution, and post closing asset management.
This is a high visibility role offering direct exposure to senior leadership and meaningful participation in investment decision making. Denver is the firm’s preferred location, though strong candidates in other locations will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate new acquisition and development opportunities
- Construct financial models at the asset and fund level, including proformas, sensitivity analyses, and distribution waterfalls
- Prepare detailed presentations and materials for Investment Committee use
- Support asset management activities including leasing updates, budget variance analysis, hold/sell decisions, and quarterly reporting
- Lead and coordinate due diligence processes, including market research, property tours, third-party report reviews, and investment memo preparation
- Contribute to fund-level reporting, investor communications, and strategic initiatives as the platform grows
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, Economics, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in real estate private equity, investment banking, or a related investment role
- Strong financial modeling skills including proformas and waterfalls
- Understanding of acquisitions, asset management, and capital markets
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel for due diligence and property tours
Compensation & Incentives
- Base Salary: $90,000 – $110,000
- Annual Bonus: 15% – 25% of base salary based on performance
