Summary
The Macomb Group is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Industrial Hose Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the cutting, assembly and testing of industrial hose and fittings according to work orders and specifications. This role will also entail learning and performing TIG welding procedures for metal hose products. We will provide hands-on training to the right candidate with a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
Livonia, Michigan
Monday - Friday, day shift
OT on some Saturdays, 8 AM - 12 PM
No nights, holidays, or Sundays

Industrial Hose Assembler/Entry Level Tig Welder for SS Braided Hose Assemblies
Summary
The Macomb Group is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Industrial Hose Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the cutting, assembly and testing of industrial hose and fittings according to work orders and specifications. This role will also entail learning and performing TIG welding procedures for metal hose products. We will provide hands-on training to the right candidate with a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Accurately cut, crimp and assemble a wide variety of industrial and metal hoses.
- Read and interpret sales orders and productions orders.
- Pressure-test finished hoses and record results.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist in the assembly of stainless steel wire braided hose products.
- Willingness to learn and cross-train in other job functions as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 years of experience in an industrial setting, with a focus on hose assembly preferred but not necessary.
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong Mechanical aptitude.
- Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools like calipers.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn the TIG welding process and work with stainless steel.
