Job Overview

The Luxe Cleaning Co. is seeking experienced Airbnb and short-term rental cleaners to join our growing team in Minneapolis–Saint Paul and surrounding communities.

We provide detailed, guest-ready turnovers for vacation rentals. We’re looking for dependable professionals who take pride in their work, follow property-specific instructions, and understand the importance of completing cleanings before the next guest arrives.

Starting pay is $18 per hour and room for growth! Scheduling varies based on reservations and turnover needs. Weekend availability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete thorough turnover cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas.
• Strip beds, wash and dry linens and towels, and remake beds to hotel-style presentation standards.
• Clean appliance interiors, cupboards, and drawers according to each property’s checklist.
• Vacuum floors, rugs, and upholstery, including pet hair removal; mop and sanitize appropriate surfaces.
• Restock guest essentials from designated supplies and report low inventory.
• Check for damage, missing items, stains, and maintenance concerns upon arrival.
• Follow property-specific checklists, staging instructions, and product requirements.
• Take clear completion photos and communicate progress or concerns promptly.
• Work efficiently with other cleaners to meet checkout-to-check-in deadlines.
• Complete any corrections identified during the final quality inspection.
• Handle keys and access codes securely and leave each property properly locked.

Qualifications

• Previous professional Airbnb, vacation rental, or hotel housekeeping experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and experience preparing properties for guest arrivals.
• Ability to complete assigned work thoroughly within a scheduled turnover window.
• Experience handling laundry, stain identification, linen changes, and professional bed presentation.
• Reliable transportation to assigned properties.
• Smartphone capable of receiving instructions, completing checklists, and uploading photos.
• Dependability, punctuality, and clear communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to follow established standards and accept quality-control feedback.
• Ability to perform essential cleaning duties, including bending, reaching, using stairs, and moving supplies, with reasonable accommodation.
• Availability during daytime turnover hours; weekend and occasional short-notice availability preferred.
• Professional references preferred.
