Duties
- Assist the lead wedding coordinator in planning and organizing wedding details, including timelines, vendor coordination, and venue setup
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and venue staff to confirm arrangements and clarify requirements
- Support venue setup and breakdown, ensuring all decorations, tables, and equipment are arranged according to the plan
- Manage guest arrivals and provide exceptional guest services to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Coordinate with catering teams, banquet staff, and other vendors to ensure timely service delivery
Skills:
- Experience in event planning and event management to coordinate multiple tasks seamlessly
- Exceptional customer service skills to address client needs proactively and professionally
- Excellent time management skills
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and team members clearly and confidently
- Organizational skills to manage detailed schedules, contracts, and logistics efficiently
- Banquet experience or restaurant/hospitality background preferred for understanding service flow during events
- Experience in fundraising or guest services can enhance your ability to engage guests warmly
