Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure top cleanliness standards
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces to uphold a welcoming atmosphere
- Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques to preserve their appearance and safety
- Restock amenities like towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures when handling chemicals and equipment during industrial or janitorial cleaning tasks
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as inventory control and scheduling support as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles, preferably within hospitality or hotel environments
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, surface sanitation, and industrial cleaning methods
- Ability to operate janitorial equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on hygiene standards and guest satisfaction
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout shifts
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality settings is highly desirable
- Ability to follow instructions precisely while maintaining a positive attitude in a team environment
