Lutheran Village at Miller’s Grant is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Cook Supervisor to join our caring, mission-driven community. If you are passionate about culinary excellence, team leadership, and creating exceptional dining experiences, we invite you to bring your talents to our organization.
This role offers one day off during the week and every other weekend off. Standard operating hours are 12:00pm to 8:00pm on weekdays and Saturdays, and 8:00am to 4:00pm on Sundays. Schedules may be adjusted as needed to support department staffing and operational demands.

What You'll Do:
- Supervise and support kitchen staff
- Oversee food preparation, service, and presentation
- Manage inventory, ordering, scheduling, and production logs
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
- Train, coach, and develop team members
- Address customer concerns and promote resident satisfaction
- Support special events and dining functions as needed

Qualifications:What You’ll Need as a Cook Supervisor:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary school training preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant culinary experience, with prior supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
- Knowledge of clinical and dietary requirements for residents across varying levels of care.
- ServSafe Certification required; must be obtained or renewed within 90 days of hire, if expired.
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and handling practices in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
