What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Care Aide position at The Lutheran Home at Kane?
- Part Time position available.
- Individuals must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must have current driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must assist with medication administration, activities of daily living, transportation, resident activities and housekeeping duties.
- Will receive medication administration training/certification, CPR/First Aid, Diabetic training, as well as on the job training and education.
- Required to work variable shifts, every other weekend, and alternating holidays.
- Must be able to work independently with care and concern for the elderly.
- Paid Time Off and Sick Time available after new hire probation hours.
