Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system TOAST ensuring all transactions are processed efficiently
- Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Assist with food handling, food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage cash handling and sales transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, preferably in fine dining or high-volume settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems preferrably TOAST; experience with cashiering is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Knowledge of wine and food safety standards
- Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and basic math for accurate order processing
- Hospitality background with skills in guest relations, upselling techniques, and food industry best practices
