We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate heavy machinery in an operational sawmill. The ideal candidate will have experience handling various types of equipment, ensuring workplace safety, and maintaining operational efficiency

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate heavy machinery in an operational sawmill. The ideal candidate will have experience handling various types of equipment, ensuring workplace safety, and maintaining operational efficiency
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maneuver heavy equipment such as forklifts, excavators, bulldozers, or loaders.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies regarding equipment operation.
- Assist in site preparation, grading, and material movement as needed.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Valid equipment operator certification (OSHA or equivalent preferred).
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in an industrial or construction setting.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
