In this high-impact role, you will expand global market presence, manage a diverse product portfolio, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable business results and profitability.
What We're Looking For
- Develop and align product line strategy for TempRite® CPVC with overall business objectives; proactively communicate plans and programs to global cross-functional teams.
- Establish efficient operating mechanisms, including tools and processes, to track, manage, and execute key strategic initiatives and growth opportunities for TempRite® CPVC in resin and compound applications.
- Serve as a key commercial owner of the product line’s financial performance, including margin management, profitability optimization, and delivery of annual financial targets.
- Own product line pricing strategy and hold authority to set pricing recommendations in partnership with commercial leaders to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Act as a key stakeholder in volume forecasting and demand management, collaborating with commercial, supply chain, and regional teams to ensure accurate demand plans and balanced supply strategies.
- Manage product portfolio and life cycle to maximize growth and financial performance
- Assess and prioritize resources for new target opportunities, considering material advantages such as high heat resistance, chemical inertness, fire and smoke performance, and mechanical properties.
- Lead effective global cross-functional stakeholder meetings, ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely updates.
- Gather and synthesize competitive intelligence across markets, applications, technologies, and regions to guide strategy, pricing, and product positioning.
- Negotiate with resource managers and resolve identified resource limitations; demonstrate independent decision-making.
- Collaborate to implement and grow the product portfolio using both Lubrizol’s advanced technologies and strategic external partnerships.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and people influence by leading without direct authority, guiding and aligning regional commercial teams, providing strategic direction to R&D, operations, and supply chain partners, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders to deliver product line objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, business, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience leading cross-functional teams on large, complex projects.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: product management, operations, manufacturing, technology, or other relevant fields (ideally experience across multiple areas); experience with polymer compounds or engineered materials is preferred.
- Strong financial acumen at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Proven ability as a change agent, leading teams through uncertainty and growth.
- Demonstrated success in creating, designing, and implementing cross-functional business processes.
- Experience growing new business models from early stage to maturity within a matrixed organization.
- Familiarity with thermoplastics, adhesives, and/or engineered materials markets is ideal.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Travel Requirement: Up to 10%, primarily domestic, with occasional international travel (approximately one trip per year).
