**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated caregiver to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to clients needing assistance with ADL's in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping, light meal prep and senior companionship. This is a secondary support position that will provide coverage when the morning aide leaves.
**Duties:**
(a) Assistance with meal planning.
(b) Dinner preparation, grocery purchase planning, and assisting individuals with shopping and other errands.
(c) Laundry, including folding, ironing, and putting away laundry.
(d) House cleaning including dusting furniture, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors; kitchen care including dishes, appliances, and counters; bathroom care; emptying and cleaning bedside commodes; changing bed linens; washing inside windows within reach from the floor; and removing trash.
(e) Preparing client for bed
**Skills:**
Experience in assisted living or nursing home, or home care settings
Knowledge of patient care principles and practices
Familiarity with direct support techniques for individuals with diverse needs
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong communication skills to interact with residents, families, and staff members
Hoyer Lift experience
