Work Hours: 1:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Schedule: 10-month employee
Reports To: Manager of LS After School Programs
Position Responsibilities:
- Attend staff training and staff meetings.
- Assist with set-up, implementation, and clean-up of indoor and outdoor activities.
- Participate in ASAP activities and perform assigned duties as needed.
- Coordinate with ASAP administration regarding student issues or concerns.
- Enforce ASAP rules to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all students.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging environment for students.
- Flexibility in work assignments, including supporting enrichment transport, carpool/walk-outs, and late pick-ups.
- Handle daily administrative tasks such as checking in students, answering phones, and monitoring enrichment sign-ins.
- Maintain attendance records and clock in/out daily.
Position Requirements:
- At least 21 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of experience working with children.
- Ability to work as a team member and maintain positive, professional behavior.
- Flexibility, resourcefulness, and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.
- Assertive, self-motivated, and punctual.
- Ability to communicate effectively and enforce rules respectfully.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to sit, use hands, talk, or hear.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, and lift/move up to 10 pounds.
- Must have vision abilities including close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
