ON THE JOB, RECEPTIONIST
- Monitoring access control and challenging those without proper identification.
- Maintaining the visitor management system, checking visitors, guest.
- Issuing badges and access cards and maintaining secure logs.
- Monitoring a CCTV system.
- Handing incoming calls, emails.
- Lobby detail, ensuring egress corridors are accessible.
- Check -In authorized personal onsite.

TO SUCCEED AT METRO ONE:
- Have excellent interpersonal communication skills in customer service.
- High level of awareness, attentiveness, and alertness
- Ability to deescalate situations and remain calm in confrontation.
- Capable of standing for long periods of time and exhibiting physical strength.
- Astute observation and detailed notetaking/reporting
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Active California Guard Card
- Minimum 1 year experience in a customer service/ security position
- Have a solid/stable work history in the past 6 years.
- Background screening required.
- Security, Military, Corrections, or Law Enforcement experience is a PLUS.
