Compensation
-$18-$22/hour (average per hour including tips) | Part-Time
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to take orders and answer questions about menu items.
- Manage POS systems for accurate order entry, billing, and cash handling while maintaining efficiency during busy hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately; process payments via cash or card while providing correct change.
- Restock supplies regularly, monitor inventory levels, and communicate needs for replenishment to management.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to promote a safe environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced setting is highly preferred, but not required. We will provide training for the right individuals!
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to juggle multiple orders while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest satisfaction.
- Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industries is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night and weekend shifts.
