We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Lumber Yard Laborer/Delivery Driver to join our team.
You’ll be part of a team that helps customers get the materials they need, while also keeping our lumber yard organized, stocked, and running smoothly.
No college degree required. We’re looking for someone with a good work ethic, common sense, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work safely.
What You'll Do
- Load customer vehicles with lumber and building materials
- Unload and receive incoming trucks
- Stock and organize building supplies throughout the lumber yard
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment
- Help customers load and handle their purchases
- Keep the yard and work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Work with a team to make sure customers receive the right materials on time
- Take on other yard and delivery duties as needed
- Make local deliveries of lumber and building materials to customers and job sites
What We're Looking For
- Ability to drive a manual transmission preferred
- Some knowledge of or experience in the building industry preferred
- Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical, hands-on work
- Able to safely lift up to 80 pounds
- Dependable, responsible, and ready to work
- Good common sense and the ability to make safe decisions
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
