The Logo is Sarasota’s premier basketball shooting facility, featuring 5 Dr. Dish FCLTY shooting machines, half-court rentals, and high-rep shooting sessions designed to help athletes of all ages develop their game. We’re looking for energetic, basketball-minded staff to join our team and help create an amazing experience for our members.
Position Overview
As a Basketball Facility Assistant, you’ll play a key role in welcoming members, assisting athletes during shooting sessions, and keeping the facility organized and fun. This is a hands-on position perfect for younger athletes, students, or basketball enthusiasts who love the game and want to be around it every day.
Responsibilities
- Greet members and assign them to their shooting lane.
- Guide athletes through logging in, setting up their Dr. Dish account, and choosing workouts.
- Recommend drills and encourage proper use of the Dr. Dish machines.
- Collect and re-rack basketballs, sweep floors, and maintain clean shooting lanes between sessions.
- Set shooting lanes with ball sizes that fit each member (Size 6 for women/youth, Size 7 for men).
- Grab loose balls so members can focus on their shots.
- Inflate basketballs and keep equipment in top shape.
- Manage music and keep the environment upbeat.
- Prepare the court for half-court rentals and full-facility events by moving rebounders and attaching pole pads.
- Recommend water breaks, encourage free throws at the end of sessions, and give guidance to younger athletes when needed.
- Assist with birthday parties, team rentals, and 3-point contests—keeping things fun and organized.
