Position Overview:We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant General Manager to uphold and enhance our reputation for world-class hospitality. This role is central to ensuring every guest feels valued, every event runs seamlessly, and every team member works cohesively to exceed expectations. A strong knowledge of food and wine is a major plus, allowing you to enhance guest experiences and support menu planning and pairings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest-Centered Leadership:
• Lead by example in delivering outstanding hospitality, fostering a culture where guest satisfaction is the highest priority.
• Actively engage with guests to ensure their needs are met and their experiences are exceptional.
• Use your knowledge of food and wine to make thoughtful recommendations and elevate guest interactions.
• Hospitality-Driven Team Management:
• Inspire, mentor, and develop a team dedicated to excellence in service.
• Conduct regular training sessions, including food and wine education, to ensure staff can confidently assist guests.
• Encourage team members to anticipate guest needs and go above and beyond in creating memorable experiences.
• Flawless Event Execution:
• Oversee banquet and dining operations to maintain high standards of service, timeliness, and presentation.
• Ensure smooth transitions between events, with meticulous attention to detail
• Operational Knowledge: Proven experience with P&L management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Partner with the General Manager to implement strategies that enhance both operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Operational Excellence with a Hospitality Focus:
• Monitor service standards and consistently strive for improvement.
• Manage resources effectively to ensure a balance of quality, speed, and personalization.

Qualifications:

• Hospitality and Banquet Management Experience: A minimum of 3 years in banquet management, restaurant operations, or a similar hospitality-focused role.
• Banquet Expertise: Demonstrated ability to plan and execute high-quality events, with attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• Operational Knowledge: Proven experience with P&L management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of Food and Wine: Strong understanding of menu offerings, wine pairings, and culinary trends is a major plus.
• Personality Counts: We're looking for someone who's engaging, approachable, and maybe even knows a good joke or two (dad jokes welcome, but optional).
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to motivate and lead teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding high standards.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Calm under pressure and skilled in resolving challenges to maintain guest satisfaction.
