Duties
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of clean items
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables, organizing supplies, and supporting catering or banquet setups
- Support the culinary team by handling food prep tasks when needed, ensuring food safety standards are met
- Keep the kitchen area tidy by removing trash, sweeping floors, and disinfecting surfaces regularly
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes during busy service periods
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace cleanliness
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling safety standards, and basic kitchen operations
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
