What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Room Attendant position at The Lodges at Gettysburg?
The Lodges at Gettysburg is the areas premier meeting, event and destination venue. We are seeking a full and/or part-time room/housekeeping attendant. Qualified candidates must be honest, energetic/passionate, detail oriented, punctual and able to work as a team. Room attendants are one of the most important employees of our Lodge, as their work provides for an enjoyable stay for our guests. Candidates will be required to clean guest lodges (dusting, mopping, vacuuming, bathrooms, make beds, etc.) according to predetermined Lodge standards. Prior hotel experience is preferred, but not necessary. We will train the right candidate. Work hours are from approximately 8am-4pm and does require some weekend availability. Lifting of approximately 20 pounds is required at times as well as an upbeat/friendly personality for communicating with our guests.
