Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities.
- Wednesday-Sunday from 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (closing shift)
Responsibilities:
- Perform custodial duties such as cleaning, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming
- Maintain and care for floors
- Conduct residential painting tasks as needed
- Handle commercial cleaning tasks in various areas
- Ensure proper sanitation of restrooms and common areas
- Assist with porter duties such as trash removal and recycling
- Perform floor care maintenance including sweeping and scrubbing
- Execute industrial cleaning tasks in designated areas
- Support facilities maintenance activities as required
Building Closing Procedures
- Basic knowledge of painting, landscaping, and minor repair work
- Dependability and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Requirements:
- Proven experience in custodial or related roles
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment effectively
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning standards
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in work
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in residential painting is a plus
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or porter services is beneficial
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
