Job Opportunity: Physician for School-Based Wellness Center
Location: Chadron, NE (Residential Trade School Campus)
We are seeking a dedicated nurse practitioner/physician assistant to join the wellness center at a local residential trade school, providing medical care for students. The wellness center is located directly on the school campus of Pine Ridge Job Corps Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical exams for all students
- Provide low-acuity walk-in care
- Offer general medical support to a young adult population, ages 16-24
Requirements:
- Active Nebraska NP/PA License
- Federal DEA Certification
- Board certification is not required, but experience in urgent care or primary care is preferred
- At least one year of experience in young adult care
Position Details:
- Schedule: 8 hours per week, on a regular, weekly basis
- Classification: Contract (Locum Tenens) provider
