Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, processing payments with precision.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service areas, and dining spaces in accordance with health standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Provide recommendations on menu items and drinks based on guest preferences.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for events or special occasions as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a server is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and basic math skills for processing payments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
