Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience through excellent customer service
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
- Coordinate with kitchen staff using OpenTable or other reservation systems to optimize seating flow during busy hours
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math for cashiering tasks
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in upselling, serving alcohol responsibly if applicable, and managing guest inquiries effectively
