Line Cook / Prep Cook
Come be part of The Lobster Boat Restuarant experience. Established in 1984, The Lobster Boat Restaurant is a landmark and the local “go to” for lunch and dinner. We receive fresh seafood deliveries 6 days a week all in an effort to uphold the highest quality. Our goal is to move with one simple idea and that is to exceed the expectations of every guest that comes to dine with us.
Duties:
- Prepare menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with catering events as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
Experience preferred; however, we are willing to train the right person
- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations helpful. ServSafe training available
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
