What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Manager position at The Loaded Teashop?
We’re looking for a Warehouse Manager who can dominate operations in a fast-paced, high-output environment. This isn’t a clipboard-and-office kind of gig — this is boots-on-the-floor leadership. You’ll be responsible for making sure thousands of units move smoothly every week, from raw ingredient intake through production staging, packaging, inventory, and outbound logistics.
If you thrive on chaos, precision, and accountability — and can build systems that scale while leading a crew that respects you because you get your hands dirty too — you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do
- Run the floor: Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, picking, staging, and shipping.
- Optimize flow: Design and enforce systems that keep product, materials, and people moving efficiently — no bottlenecks, no excuses.
- Lead and build a crew: Hire, train, and motivate a tight-knit team that performs at high standards every single day.
- Inventory command: Maintain accurate, real-time tracking of raw materials and finished goods. Implement cycle counts and eliminate shrink/loss.
- Safety & compliance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with all safety and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally: Work directly with Production, Procurement, and Logistics to hit production goals and ship deadlines.
- Problem-solve fast: Address breakdowns, shortfalls, or bottlenecks immediately — you own your space, and nothing sits idle.
- Metrics-driven management: Track throughput, order accuracy, fulfillment time, and cost efficiency. Always know your numbers — and how to beat them.
Who You Are
- A leader first, not a manager — people follow you because you earn it.
- Experienced in high-volume warehousing or manufacturing (supplements, beverage mixes, or food production preferred).
- Strong understanding of inventory systems (ERP/WMS), shipping logistics, and batch control.
- Physically capable of leading from the floor — you don’t manage from behind a desk.
- Obsessed with organization, safety, and speed.
- Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment where systems evolve and ideas move fast.
- Detail-obsessed — “close enough” isn’t close enough.
Requirements
- 5 years warehouse leadership experience (preferably in a food, beverage, or supplement operation).
- Deep knowledge of inventory flow, batch traceability, and production staging.
- Strong communication and accountability habits.
- Forklift certified (or willing to become certified).
- Experience working with shipping carriers, palletizing, and freight logistics.
Why This Role Rocks
- You’ll manage a state-of-the-art, high-volume warehouse that’s scaling fast.
- You’ll have real authority — if it happens in your warehouse, you call the shots.
- Competitive pay performance bonuses.
- Leadership in a company that values grit, precision, and execution — not corporate nonsense.
