About the Role
As a Playtime Coordinator at The Little Sandbox, you’ll do a little bit of everything—and
handle a lot.
From greeting families and checking in guests, to tidying play areas, assisting with parent
lounge transactions, and setting up for birthday celebrations—you’ll be part of a small,
collaborative team where everyone jumps in to make the day special.
It’s a role for someone who loves kids, enjoys staying busy, and takes pride in creating a
space that’s clean, joyful, and full of life.
What You’ll Do
- Greet families warmly and help create a welcoming, positive environment.
- Oversee play areas—engage with children, encourage imaginative play, and ensure safe,
respectful use of the space.
- Assist guests with parent lounge transactions, including self-serve beverages (coffee,
juice), snacks, and ice cream sandwiches.
- Support parties and private events—help set up, host, and clean up so families can relax
and celebrate.
- Operate our point-of-sale system for admissions, memberships, and lounge sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the play space, lounge, and restrooms.
- Work as part of a close-knit team where everyone contributes to creating an exceptional
guest experience.
Who You Are
- Warm, friendly, and naturally great with both kids and adults.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and upbeat—you thrive in an active, team-oriented environment.
- Flexible and happy to pitch in wherever needed (no two days are the same here).
- Prior experience in hospitality, early childhood, or customer service preferred—but we’ll
train the right person!
- Must have weekday and weekend availability (AM & PM).
- Parties are hosted Fridays at 5:00 PM, and Saturdays and Sundays between 12:00–5:00
PM.
- Additional working hours may be required for party planning, setup, and cleanup.

Pay: $16–$18/hr tips
Schedule: Must have weekday and/or weekend availability (AM & PM). Parties are hosted
Fridays at 5 PM, and Saturdays & Sundays between 12–5 PM.
