Would you like to work in a warm and loving environment? Come join our team at The Little Playroom! We are seeking a kind and energetic individual who will assist the lead teacher in implementing the daily activities while caring for and supervising children ages 1 and up when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth and development
- Create a fun and safe learning environment
- Follow schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and parents
- Communicate with parents on children's growth and progress
- Maintain the health and safety of all students
- Follow regulations
- Light cleaning
Qualifications:
- 2 years of previous experience in childcare/babysitting, teaching, or other child related fields
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with children
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent communication skills
- Clean background checks
- High school diploma/GED
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
