Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated daycare teachers to join our team at our new center (opened in April 2025). The ideal candidates will have a passion for nurturing and educating young children, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering their development. The daycare teachers will create a positive and engaging atmosphere that promotes learning and growth. We are looking for part time daycare teachers (ideal if comfortable with all age groups: infants-prek, and can work year round)
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Monitor children's behavior and provide guidance to encourage positive interactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area, ensuring all materials are safe.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
Qualifications
- Experience in childhood development, daycare, or similar settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of behavior/classroom management techniques to support children's emotional needs is preferred.
- Experience working with children (whether it be babysitting, nannying, or a position working with children) is a must.
- Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, or preschool education is a plus.
- A genuine love for working with children is a must!
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
