The Link Event & Recreation Center is the City of Richland Hills' Recreation Center.

The Link Event & Recreation Center is looking for energetic and enthusiastic Camp Attendant who want to play, engage, and supervise elementary age students all summer long!

Camp Attendant – Summer Camp

Our Camp Attendants are passionate about helping children grow, thrive, and learn in a safe and engaging environment. Staff must demonstrate respect, responsibility, and trustworthiness while working with campers and fellow team members. Successful candidates should also understand group dynamics and be strong team players.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise up to 15 children at a time
• Lead and assist with daily activities including arts and crafts, gym games, board games, outdoor play, and more
• Take initiative by setting up activities, cleaning up, and keeping campers engaged throughout the day
• Monitor children with attentiveness, patience, and respect

Schedule

• Shifts range from 4–8 hours per day, Monday through Friday
• Work hours fall between 7:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
• Employees may work up to 40 hours per week

Summer Availability
Priority will be given to applicants who are able to work the full camp season with no more than five requested days off between May 27 and August 7.

Additional Information

• This position may lead to a permanent part-time role when school resumes in August. Summer Camp Attendants can transition to after school program attendants!
• Starting Pay
• No experience: $10.31 per hour
• With experience: $10.95 – $12.89 per hour
• CPR/First Aid certification provided at no cost (if needed)
• Staff are expected to work July 4 from 7:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., and will be paid double their hourly rate

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Valid driver’s license

Requirements
All applicants must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
