As a Busser at O&A Line Management, you play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. Your primary responsibility is to provide attentive and personalized service, ensuring guest satisfaction and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant. As a front-line ambassador, you represent our establishment and contribute significantly to the positive reputation we strive to maintain.
Responsibilities
- Must be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
- Establish and maintain good communications and team work with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel
- Offer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to our standards of excellence, professionalism and friendliness
- Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of the sequence of service, following this sequence for every guest.
- Clear, mark, and take ownership of table maintenance and wipe and resets tables
- Assist coworkers in any task necessary to ensure a great environment for guests and coworkers
- Execute any additional employee duties requested by management
- Possess expert knowledge of all food and beverage aspects of the restaurant
- Maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the hotel
- Participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested
- A minimum of 1 -2 years of experience in a fast-paced and professional environment
- Previous experience as a server or back server with a food-forward and high-volume establishment
- Proven success of “champion of the culture,” facilitating excellent communication and engagement
- Team focused with an understanding of the bigger picture and how you can contribute
- ServSafe Food Handlers Certification
- Responsible Beverage Service(RBS) Training with Certification
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
- Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
- Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others.
- Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 20 to 60 pounds.
- Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
- Must be able to use a step ladder.
