The Linder Academy (www.thelinderacademy.com) is a private school focused on evidence-based education. The right candidate for this school will enjoy working with a varied population (1/3 students with disabilities, 1/3 typical, and 1/3 gifted or 2E).
We are looking to hire an Academic Support Assistant to provide support to the teachers and students of Linder Academy for the 2023-2024 school year.
Areas of support may include (the job hours will be adjusted to the skills of those hired):
- Behavior Support
- Assisting teachers and students with problem based learning projects
- Helping teachers with lesson preparation
- Academic Intervention/Tutoring
- Teaching an elective class based on your interests and talents (art, sewing, foreign language, etc.)
