The Linden Center is dedicated to providing high-quality, play-based therapy services for children with diverse communication needs. Our collaborative team includes BCBAs, therapists, teachers, and families, all working together to support children’s growth in a nurturing, child-led environment.

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The SLP will work with children under the age of 8, including those on the Autism spectrum, to develop and implement individualized speech and language goals in a play-based preschool setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with BCBAs, teachers, therapists, and families to integrate speech goals into daily activities
  • Provide guidance and training to staff and parents to support carryover of skills
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions, progress notes, and reports
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary planning

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state license
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably children with autism
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based, play-based interventions including DIRFloortime, ESDM, or EMT
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to maintain organized documentation and data
