What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at The Lincoln Hotel?
We are seeking an outgoing and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Barista. Responsibilities of the Barista include taking customers' orders, preparing drinks and ensuring that our customers always have a pleasant experience.
In this role you will be responsible for making sure that the coffee bar is stocked before your shift as well as cleaning up after your shift is over. You will perform essential support functions, which may include preparing food, cleaning displays &/or stock areas and assisting with stock and inventory activities (plus other assignments as needed).
Responsibilities:
- Make coffee.
- Handle cash, coins, and credit cards.
- Serve food and drinks.
- Take orders from customers..
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
- Communicate with staff and customers.
- Receive inventory, moving, and lifting food and beverage products and supplies.
- Maintain a solid knowledge of product and services available.
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperature of products.
- Cleaning and sanitizing workstations and equipment.
Barista experience is required.
