Job Responsibilities
Position Summary: We are seeking applicants for a Trainee position which is an entry level Skilled Trades employee to perform general machine shop cleanup duties. This position is an opportunity to gain experience in a machine shop setting for an individual who would potentially grow into a member of LEA Coldwater’s Apprenticeship Program.

- Be aware of the relevance and importance of their activities and how they contribute to the achievement of quality objectives.
Position responsibilities:
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the manufacturing shop
- Assist with set up and tear down of any company wide meeting
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Work well with helpers, Engineers, Management, and support functions
Job Requirements
Essential skills and experience:
- Pending or earned High School Diploma
- Vocational training in Machine Trades or equivalent preferred
- Demonstrated aptitude for mechanical trades and applied mathematics
- Demonstrated eagerness to work and learn metalworking
- Basic mechanical knowledge of machines and tools
- Commitment to company values.
- Educational training and experience requirements may be modified at the Managements Team’s discretion.
