Job Description: Licensed Outpatient Therapist

TLC Wellness is an outpatient behavioral health practice committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals and families across the lifespan. As we continue to expand our services in Charlotte, NC, we are seeking fully licensed clinicians who are excited not only to provide excellent care, but also to help shape the growth and direction of a developing program.
Position Overview
TLC Wellness is hiring a full-time, fully licensed outpatient therapist to provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy services to children, adolescents, adults, and families across a range of presenting concerns.
This is intentionally a broad clinical opportunity. Specific populations, specialties, and areas of focus will depend on the strengths, interests, and experience of the right clinician. We are particularly interested in providers who are thoughtful, flexible, collaborative, and interested in contributing to the continued development of services within a growing practice.
The ideal candidate is someone who values both strong clinical care and the opportunity to help build and shape programming over time within a mission-driven and expanding organization.
Core Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and clinical evaluations.
• Develop individualized, measurable treatment plans based on client goals and clinical presentation.
• Provide evidence-based therapy interventions tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate with families, schools, providers, and community supports when appropriate
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions as clinically indicated.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and ethical standards.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of clinical programming and systems as the practice grows
•Participate in team consultation and professional development opportunities.

• Participate in outreach and relationship-building efforts
• Collaborate on systems and workflow development within a growing practice
• Grow into leadership, supervision, or specialty roles over time

Opportunity for Growth & Program Development
As TLC Wellness continues expanding in North Carolina, clinicians will have opportunities to:
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families
• Specialty training or interest in areas such as trauma, eating disorders, neurodiversity, or family systems work (can be others as well)
• Interest in helping shape and grow clinical programming within a developing practice
Education and Licensure Requirements
• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
• Active and unrestricted North Carolina clinical license required (LCSW, LCHMC, LMFT or equivalent).
• Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy services.
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
Compensation
This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits. Compensation will be based on experience, licensure, specialty areas, and overall role fit within the organization.
Full-time clinicians are expected to maintain a consistent outpatient caseload aligned with organizational productivity expectations while contributing to the collaborative and developmental goals of the practice.
