Headquartered in Pennsylvania, TLC operates across multiple states, providing K-12 alternative education, comprehensive mental and behavioral health services, coaching, counseling, and trauma-informed training. Additionally, TLC collaborates with school districts, universities, hospitals, police departments, and nonprofit organizations, offering consultation services to secure federal and state grant funding.
This position specializes in behavior change. The function of this role is to provide direct assistance to educational staff, administrators, agency personnel and parents in the areas of behavior change and addressing challenging behaviors of students. The Behavior Consultant provides individual and group trainings, conducts and supports functional behavior assessments and positive behavior support plans, advises administrators and staff regarding best practices and regulations, works as a collaborative consultant with school and agency personnel, and provides expertise regarding behavior modification in complex cases. The Behavior Consultant provides services and documents that are compliant with federal, state, and local regulations. Also, services and documents are based on best practices, research validated methods, and PDE supported procedures and materials.
