What are the responsibilities and job description for the Christmas Light Remover position at The Lighting Master?
We have started removing Christmas lights from residential and commercial properties and we are looking to hire ground crew members ASAP. These are all full-time positions. This job includes ladder work and is primarily outside.
1st - You must have a way to get to and from work. We can't pick you up or drop you off. You MUST have a valid driver's license. You may need to drive a company truck and need to be able to do so and be insured.
2nd - You need to be in good physical shape. This job involves climbing and carrying things up ladders, loading and unloading heavy boxes into the truck for your job that day, and working outside in the cold.
3rd - You absolutely need to NOT be afraid of heights or working at heights. We are frequently working on ladders going up to 16ft tall.
4th - While we are open to all ages, all races, men, and women, we do hire based on personality. If you do not get along well with others, or have anger issues, this job is not for you. We shift crew members and foremen around based on job size, and the ideal person can work with anyone else.
Finally, this is a seasonal job. We start taking down lights 12/29/2025 until around the end of january.
As this is temporary, no health insurance or 401k is offered. We pay every other week on a payroll check with normal taxes taken out.
