We represent a diverse group of lighting, transportation, sports lighting and lighting controls manufacturers. We recognize that before and after sale, top-tier service and support is paramount to the positive outcome of projects and the success of our stakeholders.
We provide these services to manufacturers, the design community, developers, municipalities, utilities, school districts, state & local governments, contractors and distributors: sales & marketing, local and factory training, product selection assistance, product demonstration & mock-ups, quotations, design build/ design assist services and construction administration & project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple lighting projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, priorities, and customer expectations are consistently met.
- Deliver a ServiceFirst experience by proactively communicating, anticipating challenges, and resolving issues quickly and professionally.
- Review quotes against fixture schedules and specifications to confirm accurate bills of materials.
- Prepare detailed and accurate submittals, ensuring all project requirements and clarifications are addressed.
- Process purchase orders with manufacturers and provide clear, timely shipping updates to customers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth and positive project experience from start to finish.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and internal teams.
- Collaborate with peers to support a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
- 2 years of lighting industry experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of lighting product specifications and manufacturer literature.
- Familiarity with the relationships between manufacturers, lighting agencies, and electrical distributors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe/Bluebeam, and lighting quote/order entry systems.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of service and follow-through.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a ServiceFirst mindset.
